Glass glass everywhere and not a chunk to eat

So Gavi had his first exposure to NY culture. We took him to the NY botanical gardens where the famous Dale Chiuly had an exhibit there. Gavi had some critique on his use of depth and coloring but I think over all he gave it two thumbs up... and then put them in his mouth. He slept through a big chunk of the visit. Mr Chihuly, don't let that discourage your performance, he even tends to sleep through his own daddy's performances. We passed the Bronx Zoo on the way- Yitzy can’t wait to take Gavi there when he can really appreciate it. As much as I’m looking forward to that, I still wish he’d stay this small. It’s the best time when they can’t talk back. Love to all!! Gavi’s Mom

Chappy New Year!!!!

So it was Gavi's first Rosh Hashana and I think he took the transition from 5766 to 5767 very well. He got to spend some quality time with his Dod-Diddy and Tanty-Kiki. They got a huge kick out of each other. I expected too much from him by walking into shul to hear his Abba's davening. The minute I stepped into shul- out came the screams. So we turned right around and went back home. We'll try again next year.

Gavi tagged along for his first of many trips to the studio. He had loads of fun. Stay tuned.

Gavi Stew and Clean Clothing

If you'd like the recipe for Gavi Stew, just email me and i'll pass it along. I got my new washer and dryer today! For the first time i am able to do laundry like a normal human being, with out worry that my washer or dryer might break down. for the past 2 months I’ve had to unplug the washer for 1/2 hour every time it acted up. it would just stop in the middle of the rinse cycle. this all started about 3 days before Gavi was born. Thou shalt not fear thy washer and dryer no more. The Spinner family has prevailed!

Up up and away!

It's a bird, its a plane, no it's Gavi-pooh. Gavi's had a pretty overwhelming week so far. But he's taking it like a champ. He took a road trip with mommy and daddy up to Boston to meet his pop-pop's ENTIRE family. Everyone showed a standing ovation but it's tough having to perform for his great aunts and uncles! Mommy is still rooting for the red hair as much as it looks like he's got some in this picture, its still brown. The camera not only adds 10 pounds but changes hair color as well. Gavi is smiling more and more everyday. We're all excited to see what he'll do next. Talk to you all soon!
