What is He Not Getting?

Gavi seems frustrated for some reason. I really don't get why. But I'm sure you'll get a laugh out of this. I'm such a mean mother.

Would You Wanna Hug This?

When Gavi sits down to eat any meal of the day he needs he following by his trusty side: Two spoons, of the dairy or meat variety depending on the meal, his passy, and a handful of cheerios in the cup holder. I don't know if this is the best eating habit for a baby but what ever works right?

First he takes the first bite. Then he needs the passy. Then another bite. Then he plays with his spoons. I try to sneak another bite in between the spoons. We start the process all over again. My mother thinks I'm crazy for playing these games with him. By the end of the meal he looks like this-

Notice the food on his feet and forehead as well. Any suggestions?

Love to all!

PS- After the first month or so of feeding him solids, we realize the best thing to do was eat our meals in our onesies.

Follow the Light Gavi Goo

Yes, we are mean to our son. But who can resist?

Gavi has a new favorite food. Wipes! Every time I leave him alone in his play room, he goes straight for the box that I had (stupidly) left on the couch from the previous diaper change. I know, mommy should know better. I'll get a picture of it, should it happen again. (as it probably will)

Go Gavi Go!

So Gavi is starting to feel his way through walking. Yes, he's still holding out hand, but only one of them! Please G-d he'll figure it out before the summer.

Last night we had to start Ferberizing all over again. I went in and out of his room about 10 times last night reminding him... "Yes Gavi, we're still here... We love you Gavi... It's time to go to bed Gavi." In the mean time, he's probably thinking, SHUT UP WOMAN AND GIVE ME MY BOTTLE!

We got Gavi his first baseball hat. You Like? He didn't! He kept trying to pull it off. He only kept it on long enough for this photo.

Since s'fira (the time between Passover and Shavuot when we refrain from listening to live music) is upon us, this is the musician's form of Bein HaZmanim, Daddy is home on Sunday's. During this down time, Daddy enjoys practicing on his guitar with the Gav-meister.

And then Gavi decided he'd rather eat the instrument than play it.

Don't worry daddy, there is still hope.

Love to all,

Pesach

So we made it through our first Pesach home. Yes, we did miss the Ritz, but there's nothing like your first pesach table to make you feel proud.

We got gavi a walker for afikoman... and what did he like most about it? Well, take a look.

(IF YOU CAN'T SEE IT CLICK HERE)

What can I say? He's a goofy wittal boy.

Much love.
