My Couch Potatoe

Do you think couch potatoes go well in chulent? Just like my gavi stew recipe? Hmm? Angle 1 and Angle 2.

Gavi likes to watch "My big comfy couch" It's with this adult who acts like she's a kid and holds her "dolly" with her where ever she goes. Personally I think it teaches the younger generation to be attached to dolls or any other crutch. But what can you do? We all need a little dependency now and then. Mine you ask? CHOCOLATE!!! Tee Hee Hee.

Anyway, Gavi is about to earn his wings tomorrow. We're going to visit his aunt she-be tomorrow. She lives in Israel. We have a layover in Paris and then it’s off to Tel Aviv. Here's what i hope to report when i come back...

Gavi was an amazing baby BOTH ways. The flight attendants loved him and could not put him down. They held him the whole time. He even took a 5 hour nap an adjusted to the 7 hour time change as if there was not change at all. AND he slept through the night from 8 pm to 8 am. Isn't that amazing?

Who Da Boss?

Bath time is getting to be harder and harder as Gavi is becoming more aware of his surroundings. He's more curious about what that thingy is ... mommy calls it a fathet? oh no she means faucet. Silly mommy.

We went to the mall today to shop for some channukka (yes i choose to spell it that way) gifts. Gavi was so bad during neiman marcus- i got some looks of death from the stuck up-burberry decked-louis vuitton holding-women. Oh please it's not like you didn't have a screaming baby back in your day! Oh right you nanny's took care of it. Poop on them. Gavi, you scream away. Scream like you've never screamed before. You show those women who's boss. That's right- your mommy!

So Gavi LOVES to heat fingers as you can see. Everytime he sees his, mine, yitzy's they are in his mouth. Every time he pounces on some digets he is so dissapointed that nothing comes out of them. Like milk maybe? G-d help us when he gets some chompers.

Gavi's First Physics Lesson

While giving Gavi a bath this evening he discovered cause and effect. If Gavi slaps his hand down hard into the water, what happens boys and girls? Yes, it splashes. ALL OVER MOMMY! Gavi sent a tidal wave throughout the kitchen. Okay, just the counter and onto the floor. Thanks to Gavi, mommy doesn’t need to wash the floor this week.
