My Boy

I know it's been a while and I wish there was a good excuse. At least it hasn't been as long as some people... ahem. So we're still trying to get the hang of crawling. But it's not for lack of trying. Gavi gets where he needs to go at his own pace. Sometimes faster than others. In fact, I under estimated his mobility and plop went Gavi. I won't say off of what, but I'm sure you can use your imagination. It's not like I left him alone. I was putting laundry away in the same room. But Gavi-pooh is fine thank G-d.



Gavi had his friend Yakira over this past shabbat. He was checking to see if anyone was looking while putting the moves on her. That sly dog! Gavi keep your hands to yourself. What would her parents think?!

The babies had a good time. As did we.

Yeah No School!!

We were stuck in the house all day thanks to the weather. But we did manage to sneak out for a quick pic

Help... I Need to Baby Proof My House!!!

So we're starting to be more mobile. G-d help us. He's getting up on all fours and trying his best to lunge at the things that peak his interests. As Gavi is sitting up playing with his teddy bear he's eyeing that thing in the wall with 3 little holes. Mommy keeps putting things into it... Hmm what's in there? Let's see.... BZZZZZZT. That's my foresight kicking in.

Off to Babies R Us- the child proof section please!

I'll take 2 maybe 3 gates. OK we'll throw an extra one in the cart for good luck. Those things that keep cabinets closed. And the largest package you have of socket protectors.

Gavi interjects- No mommy I don't want to wear a pocket protector! The kids will make fun of me!!!!

Gavi, a SOCKET not POCKET! Have some faith in yo momma!

Dear Gavi....

Gavi, Mommy thinks it's best for all of us if you start doing the following...

Walk, Talk, and most importantly learn how to change your OWN diapers! Since you've started on solids it's just been unbearable! How much more can mommy take? I'd say that daddy can take over with the diapers, but we all know that's not going to happen. It's nice that you can hold your bottle by yourself now

and that you can sit up one your own

but ya'lla. I know it will come in due time. Until then a mother will just have to be patient and watch her son grow.
